Membership of our organisation is open to everyone. Over the years of our existence, our membership has consisted of mainly resident Guyanese. However, our list of members also included non-resident Guyanese.
If you are desirous of becoming a member of TIGI, you should ensure that you understand the kind of organisation that we are and the manner in which we do our work. For this information please read the About Us page of this site. Having understood who we are, you will then be required to complete and submit a short application form so that your application can be considered by our Board of Directors. The application form requires declarations of membership in political parties and also a brief statement (two sentences) about why you wish to join the organisation. Once you have completed the application form, please sign (you may need to print, sign and scan) and submit it to infotransparencygy@gmail.com or mail it to our office.
Please note that our question about political affiliation is to address the requirement that no one who is at the helm of our organization be closely affiliated with any political party.
We accept persons of any and all political parties. The only requirement is that you have a sincere desire to help fight corruption.
