About Us
The Transparency Institute Guyana Inc. (TIGI) was born out of the concern for the level of corruption that was perceived to have existed in the Guyanese society. The organization was incorporated in November 2010 under the Companies Act (1991), Chapter 89:01 of the Laws of Guyana, as a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of good governance, transparency and greater accountability, and assisting in the fight against corruption.
